ive been looking at a lot of samples of 'route 66' style illustration and found that some artists like to use collage in there work. This could give it a realy nice depth if used in the right places.

Looking at a possible aesthetic for the film, i really like these watercolour paintings i have come across by the artist 'Derek Mccrea'.
I particularly like the way he incorporates the sketchy objects and landscape with the signage. However, i feel his compositions are at times a little crowded
